Power Meter

What does the H2O Power Meter do?

As the athlete is swimming there is a sensor that measures the amount of power the swimmer generates and graphs the data in real time on a PC to analyze and find areas for improvement.

How does it do that?

The swimmer is attached to a tether that is anchored to a fixed object (like a starting block). There is a tension sensor in-line of the tether and it measures the amount of tension on the tether line. This information is then translated through the USB port into the PC.

How will this help the swimmers and triathletes ?

The real time graphed data will show how much power the swimmer generates. The power data can be compared to other swimmers or to the same swimmer over time. This allows us to implement a change into the swimmers technique and see the results immediately in the graphed power data. The swimmer will be able to see if the technique change is effective by comparing the real time graphed power data. This analytical device is perfect for analyzing power and technique and doing comparative analysis from previous sessions!

Boat Excursion

Race Club Boat Excursion

As an optional part of the The Race Club Camp experience, you can enjoy a half-day excursion on the  38-foot Race Club fishing/diving boat. Powered by three 275 horsepower Mercury Verado outboard engines, this 65 mph Fountain Powerboat will get you to the fish in a hurry, with plenty of time to snorkel or catch dinner!

The Race Club World Team is renowned for it’s creative training methods. If you want to build your lungs and legs in a hurry, try chasing a big snapper or grouper in 30 feet of clear, Florida Keys water with your fins on! We guarantee a good night’s sleep after this experience! Whatever you  catch, many local restaurants will specially prepare the fish for you. So don’t forget to pack your mask and fins and join us on the Race Club fishing/diving excursion!
