Thunderbolt: Effective Simplicity

Hello everyone, and thank you for taking the time to read my new contribution to The Race Club website. Over the coming weeks, months and years I am looking forward to posting a great deal of information that I hope you will find educational and, most importantly, useful.

I wanted to begin my tenure here on the site with a simple discussion on a product that all of us at The Race Club are very passionate about, which is Thunderbolt. Thunderbolt is a unique supplement formulated to help you get the most out of training and it is proven effective. All of its ingredients are scientifically backed and it has been used effectively in the pool and on various fields of play by true athletes, which perhaps is the most telling sign of all. But one thing that I have been asked about several times since Thunderbolt was introduced is, “Why are there only four ingredients?”

When I was first asked this I was slightly caught off guard. The formula of Thunderbolt is relatively precise. It took a great deal of trial to find the right dosages to implement in the product before it was ever brought to market. The ingredients are top notch and it is made in the United States of America, there is no cheap filler from random powders out of unchecked labs in Asia. The simplicity is key and the process is paramount in making this effective. But then it occurred to me that thanks to the ads in some of the fitness magazines, people are expecting two-dozen ingredients and a title like, “Thermonuclear SuperTest Vital Pump Tech 2000″ if a supplement is truly going to work. So, that led me here, to offer up a little information.

In countless supplements, you’ll see something in the ingredient list called, “Proprietary Blend.” Manufacturers use this for two reasons in the supplement industry. One, to hide their amazing secret formula, or two, and unfortunately the most common reason, to pretend they’re selling something really special when in actuality they are just using cheap, ineffective or even sometimes dangerous inclusions.  We weren’t going to do that with Thunderbolt because in an industry that is full of controversy, we wanted to make sure everyone knows exactly what is going into their bodies. We didn’t need to add a dozen extra ingredients that would do nothing for you and only increase the price. We felt no need to hide things from you. After all, this is what’s going into your body. And you should know exactly what that is and how much.

So finally, can such a relatively simple formula really be so effective? Yes. And I challenge you to try Thunderbolt for just a couple of days because unlike so many supplements where you have to just pray it works, you can literally feel Thunderbolt. In my coming columns I’ll explain more of the how’s and why’s of the product’s effectiveness, but for now I will say the simplicity is one of its best qualities.  The ingredient list is compact because we put our money where our mouths are and used real ingredients. Before I go, I’ll give you a great example.

On the back of the Thunderbolt bottle you see “Adenosine Triphosphate.” ATP is a nucleotide that is a vast source of energy for every cellular reaction in your body. We used the real deal. If you look at other products that claim to boost ATP, they fall flat when you gaze at their Supplement Facts and find out they instead packed in a bunch of products that are theorized to boost ATP production in the body.

When you can get the real deal that is proven to work, we couldn’t find a single reason to use things we’d have to “hope” would be effective. And that’s Thunderbolt for you: Simple. Proven. Effective.

Thanks for reading, and until next time, my best wishes for good health to you all!

I actually think the name Thunderbolt is pretty cool and way better than any of the titles like the one you mentioned. I did try Thunderbolt myself but never took it on a regular and continuous basis. So I’m not sure if I can or would give all the props to Thunderbolt but I have to say that on some days I felt like it made an average (or bad) workout better.

At what age should athletes start taking such supplements?

I’m not an expert but I would say this also depends on each supplement. I guess there are things such as a multivitamin that you can start taking from an early age and others that have certain ingredients you would not want to give your kids. If you’re a high performance athlete between age 14 and 16 I think this would be a good time to start taking some supplements. But always now what you put in your body, thus consult with someone what you can take and don’t just buy stuff on the Internet.

So you taken it, what its like after half hour later? plenty of energy or what?

    Thanks

Yes, I did take Thunderbolt myself. I think you can feel an effect right from the first time you use it. Take it up to twice a day, two capsules. Best would be in the morning on empty stomach and then early afternoon before practice.

Unlike the Liquid Oxygen it won’t give you a “boost” but you’ll feel the difference of ATP storage when you start to get to the end of that hard set. You might not even feel a big difference other than the fact that you will be able to dig deeper to what you’re used to. At least that’s what I felt … it made days where I would have average or bad workouts better days and good days great days in the pool.
