On May 1, our new DVD titled “The Fundamentals of Fast Swimming” was sent out to many members of the swimming community. We thought that in case you didn’t get your copy of the DVD, we share some additional reasons why you should get yours today.
“The Fundamentals of Fast Swimming DVD with Gary Hall Sr. is marvelous. Gary Hall does a great job of breaking down the study of fluid mechanics into plain English. This DVD brings swimming fast to life for anyone lucky enough to watch it. If you think training hard, lifting weights, and eating right are enough; think again. You have got to master these three fundamental principals to swim FAST!”
- Marc Randell, founder of the Athlete Village (read full review)
“Though I’m not generally impressed with informational products for swimming, your DVD is an exception. I intend to recommend your DVD to everyone I know who wants to swim faster. Thanks for such a great DVD.”
- Neil Fischbein, triathlon swim coach (read full review)
“Just got my copy and watched it over the weekend. Nice cinematography, fun soundtrack and obviously rock-solid advice from top expert. It’s nice!”

“I liked the videos. Not as nuts and bolts as I expected – more lyrical – I wanted to go swimming right after watching them.”
- nealhe, from the Slowtwitch Forums
“I started swimming my senior year in high school and was a sprint freestyler. I graduated just over 20 years ago. I love swim training for triathlon, but my stroke is over 20 years old. This video and some of the advice given in the swim myths busted has really helped me work on improving my stroke. I enjoyed the video for 2 main reasons. It demonstrated solid drills to improve technique, and it had plenty of video shots of the correct stroke technique. When I read about the different fundamentals on the forum, sometimes it is hard to visualize in my mind exactly what is meant.”
